⚠ Most Important Rule — Read This First
Never cancel Found before your new provider's medication has shipped with a confirmed tracking number. Canceling Found immediately ends your medication access. A gap between your last Found injection and your first new vial can interrupt your treatment progress and may require dose adjustment. Complete every "Before You Cancel" checklist item first.
Timing Guide: The Correct Order of Operations
Found Exit Timeline — Ideal Sequence
Day 1
Confirm your current medication (sema or tirz), weekly dose, and how long you've been at that dose. Take a photo of your current medication vial/packaging label. Check Found's plan terms for any commitment period or early cancellation obligations.
Day 1–2
Complete your new provider's intake (Luma Health: start.mylumahealth.com — takes 10–15 min). Confirm you have at least 2–3 weekly doses of Found medication remaining. Specify your current dose in the intake so your new provider matches it.
Day 2–4
New provider reviews your intake (Wasef Health, PC: typically 24–48 hours). Prescription approved and forwarded to VialsRX for preparation.
Day 7–14
VialsRX ships your medication (5–10 business days from approval). Tracking number arrives by email. Do not cancel Found until this tracking number arrives.
Day 14–16
Medication arrives. Confirm you have both the vial and supplies. NOW cancel Found per their cancellation process. Get written cancellation confirmation with effective date.
Next injection day
Inject from your new VialsRX vial at your current dose on your normal weekly schedule. No adjustment. No gap. Progress continues.
Phase 1 — Before You Start the Switch (Do First)
● Note your current medication and dose Critical
Write down: semaglutide or tirzepatide, weekly dose (e.g., 1.0 mg/wk sema, or 5 mg/wk tirz), and how long you've been stable at this dose. Take a photo of your current vial or packaging label. You'll provide this to Luma Health during intake so your provider matches your dose exactly.
● Check your Found plan for commitment period Timing
Log into your Found account or contact Found support to confirm: (a) whether your plan has a minimum commitment period; (b) the cancellation process — whether it's self-serve in the app or requires contacting support; (c) the deadline before your next billing date to avoid an additional charge.
● Confirm you have at least 2–3 weekly doses remaining Critical
Do not start a provider switch if you have fewer than 2 doses left. The typical timeline from starting Luma Health's intake to receiving VialsRX medication is 7–14 days. Starting with less than 2 doses remaining risks a gap if any step takes slightly longer than expected.
● Confirm VialsRX as Luma Health's pharmacy Optional Verify
Optional but recommended: verify VialsRX independently at pharmacy.texas.gov (Texas State Board of Pharmacy, license #35264). This takes under 2 minutes and confirms the compounding pharmacy's active license before you provide payment to Luma Health.
Phase 2 — Start With Your New Provider (While Still on Found)
● Complete Luma Health's online intake Do First
Visit
start.mylumahealth.com. The intake takes 10–15 minutes. When asked about current medications, enter your exact current GLP-1 type and dose. Indicate how long you've been at your current dose. This information allows Wasef Health, PC to prescribe at your current level without requiring re-titration.
● Complete payment and await provider review Timing: 24–48 hrs
After submitting your intake, Wasef Health, PC reviews and approves within 24–48 hours. You'll receive a notification when approved. This is a good time to organize your injection supplies so they're ready when your medication arrives.
● Watch for VialsRX tracking email Timing: 5–10 business days
After provider approval, VialsRX prepares and ships your medication within 5–10 business days. You'll receive a tracking email with cold-chain shipping information. Save this email — the tracking confirmation is your signal to initiate Found cancellation. Do not cancel Found until this arrives.
Phase 3 — Cancel Found (Only After New Medication Ships)
● Initiate Found cancellation in-app or by contacting support After tracking arrives
Log into the Found app and navigate to your account/subscription settings to request cancellation, or contact Found support directly. Found's cancellation process requires direct action — subscriptions may not auto-cancel. Have your account information ready.
● Confirm cancellation effective date in writing Critical
Request written confirmation (email) of your cancellation with the specific effective date. Confirm: (a) the last date your subscription is active; (b) whether any refund applies if mid-cycle; (c) that no auto-renewal will occur. File this email. It's your proof of cancellation if any billing dispute arises.
● Note that canceling Found ends coaching access simultaneously Note
Found bundles GLP-1 medication and behavioral coaching in one subscription. Canceling your Found subscription ends access to both the medication prescription and the coaching platform, app, and community at the same time. If you've been using Found's health coaches and community, plan for alternative free resources (MyFitnessPal, r/semaglutide, r/Tirzepatide) before canceling.
● Check Found plan for any cancellation friction or retention offers Note
Some patients report that Found support attempts retention during cancellation with pricing adjustments or plan changes. If you receive a retention offer, evaluate it against Luma Health's pricing ($197/mo flat sema, $297/mo flat tirz) before deciding. If the offer matches or beats Luma Health on price with equivalent pharmacy transparency, it may be worth considering.
Phase 4 — Start Your New Provider (After Medication Arrives)
● Inspect your VialsRX shipment when it arrives On arrival
Your VialsRX shipment includes the medication vial, syringes, alcohol swabs, and administration instructions. Check that: the vial is intact and the liquid is clear; the packaging includes your name and the prescribed dose; the temperature indicator (if included) confirms proper cold-chain shipment. Contact Luma Health support if anything is damaged or missing.
● Store medication correctly from arrival Critical
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide from VialsRX must be refrigerated at 36–46°F (2–8°C) immediately on arrival. Do not freeze. Do not leave at room temperature for extended periods. Opened vials are typically stable refrigerated for 28 days. Review the specific storage instructions included with your shipment.
● Inject at your current dose on your normal weekly schedule No restart needed
On your next scheduled weekly injection day, draw up your current dose from the VialsRX vial and inject subcutaneously (abdomen, thigh, or upper arm). Inject at your current dose — no step-down, no re-titration from the beginning. The molecule is pharmacologically identical to what Found prescribed. Your progress continues uninterrupted.
Note on Found Tirzepatide Patients
If you were on Found's tirzepatide program (~$199–$249/mo), Luma Health's tirzepatide is $297/mo flat — higher than Found's maintenance-dose tirzepatide. The tirzepatide dose-tier mapping applies directly (e.g., Found's 5 mg/week tirzepatide = VialsRX 5 mg/week tirzepatide, same molecule). If Found's tirzepatide price was your primary reason for enrolling there, compare Luma Health's flat-rate benefits (no dose-tier increases, named pharmacy) against Found's lower tirzepatide price before switching specifically for tirzepatide.
What Happens to Your Found Coaching Data
When your Found subscription cancels, you lose access to the Found app and all in-app content: your health coach conversations, habit tracking history, behavioral program content, and community access. Found does not provide a data export feature prominently. If there's specific coaching content or your weight history you want to preserve, take screenshots or notes before your cancellation effective date.
Your historical weight and measurement data, if you tracked it in the Found app, is not automatically transferable to your Luma Health account. Start a simple weight log in a notes app, MyFitnessPal, or spreadsheet immediately after switching so you maintain continuity of your progress data.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I actually cancel Found Health?
Found's cancellation process requires direct action — subscriptions do not auto-expire. Log into the Found app and navigate to your account settings, then subscription management, to request cancellation. If a self-serve cancellation option isn't clearly visible, contact Found's support team directly through the app or at their support email. Request written email confirmation of your cancellation with the specific effective date. Verify your next billing date before canceling to avoid an additional charge mid-cycle.
Will there be a medication gap if I time this correctly?
No, if you follow the sequence in this checklist. The key is starting Luma Health's intake with at least 2 to 3 weeks of Found medication remaining, then waiting for VialsRX shipping confirmation before initiating Found cancellation. The 7 to 14 day window between starting your Luma Health intake and receiving your VialsRX medication is covered by your remaining Found medication. Patients who follow this sequence inject their last Found dose one week and their first VialsRX dose the following week — no interruption.
Can I get a refund from Found for unused subscription time?
Found's refund policy for unused subscription time varies and should be verified directly with Found before canceling. If you cancel mid-billing cycle, some plans may provide prorated credit or access through the end of the paid period; others may not refund partial months. Ask Found support specifically: "If I cancel today, will I receive a refund for the remaining days in my current billing cycle?" Get the answer in writing before completing your cancellation.
Do I need to tell Found I'm switching to another provider?
No. You are not required to disclose your reason for canceling to Found. You can simply request cancellation without specifying that you're switching to another GLP-1 provider. Found's support team may ask why you're canceling as part of standard cancellation process; you can decline to provide a reason or simply state "I'm no longer interested in continuing" without further detail.
What if Found offers a lower price to retain me when I try to cancel?
Evaluate the retention offer against Luma Health's pricing before declining or accepting. Luma Health's semaglutide is $197/month flat at all doses; tirzepatide is $297/month flat. If Found offers to match or beat these prices while also providing their coaching platform, it's worth comparing the total value — a Found retention offer might represent better value if the price converges with Luma Health and you still value the coaching. If the retention offer still prices Found higher than Luma Health at the doses where you'll be spending most of your treatment time, proceed with the switch.
What's different about Luma Health compared to Found?
The primary differences: Luma Health charges $197/month flat for semaglutide (vs Found's dose-tier pricing of $129–$199/mo) and $297/month flat for tirzepatide (vs Found's $199–$249/mo). Luma Health publicly names VialsRX (TX #35264) as the compounding pharmacy for independent verification. Luma Health has no contracts and no cancellation penalties. Luma Health does not include behavioral coaching. Found includes health coaching in its subscription — which is Found's primary value-add over medication-only platforms. If you valued Found's coaching and engaged with it consistently, that's the main thing you give up by switching to Luma Health.
